"As long as Thessaloniki exists, no one can ever feel like an outcast" (N. Choumnos, 14th-c)
Hello, and welcome! My name is Panagiotis. I feel content that Thessaloniki—the most charming and hospitable city in Greece—has always been my home.
After finishing high school, I decided to channel my passion for the past into studying History and Archaeology at Aristotle University, where I earned my BA. Today, as a fully licensed tour guide throughout Greece, I share the endless stories of my city with travelers who are fascinated by history, art, theology, architecture, and archaeology—or who are simply interested in exploring Thessaloniki through the eyes of a local.
I offer a wide variety of tours—some of which you won’t find listed here on Tours by Locals. Whether you’re looking to explore the past, take an interesting walk through our vibrant neighborhoods, or follow culinary trails through Thessaloniki’s famous flavors, I would be more than happy to assist you.
In just a few minutes or hours from Thessaloniki—Philippi, Beroea (Veria), Xanthi, Kastoria, Florina, Lake Kerkini, Meteora, Pella, Vergina, and many more—Northern Greece always offers pleasant surprises that meet all kinds of travelers' expectations. Feel free to get in touch with me and plan the perfect itinerary. Enjoy your stay in Greece!
