Hello everybody! My name is Nikos. I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Thessaloniki and this is where I make a living as a professional licensed tourist guide. I do have a background in history and archaeology but I strongly believe that a guided tour should not be only about facts and dates. It should also be about the place itself: the people, the anecdotes, the stories that do not fit into history books. So, hopefully, together we are going to not only explore the history and the sights of this magnificent place but also feel the beating heart of the city. I have been providing tours professionally in Thessaloniki and all over Greece for a few years now, but every time feels like a fresh start. There is nothing like being outside, in the open air, with good company and showing the place you love, sharing the details and secrets that make it special. And if I can show you why this place is special to me, then it will become special to you too! I have a few tours planned but, please, do not hesitate to ask me about anything you might want anywhere in northern Greece or maybe all over the country. Share your idea and together we are going to create a brand new experience! I hope I will have the chance to meet you and show you around but, if not, enjoy Thessaloniki, enjoy Macedonia, enjoy this amazing place! I am a licensed Tourist Guide. BA in History & Archaeology Masters in Black Sea Cultural Studies I only guide in English.

Named after Zeus, the father of the Olympian Gods, Dion had been the center of Macedonian religion since the 5th century BC. Abandoned ancient temples, myths, history and one of the most beautiful and green archaeological parks in Greece await you next to mountain Olympus, home of the ancient Gods. There, on mountain Olympus, you can have a small (or big) walk through the gorge of Enipeas, enjoy the fresh mountain air, maybe meet Aphrodite or Apollo (cannot promise) and later visit the small town of Litochoro, built on the foothills of the legendary mountain, for lunch. The particular area of Pieria, as Greeks call it, is one with which I share strong bonds with. The Archaelogical park (not site!) of Dion is one of the most beautiful walks one can take, giving the opportunity to enjoy amazing ancient temples hidden inside beautiful deep nature. Mountain Olympus will be overlooking us as I share with you beautiful stories of ancient Greek mythology, right next to the river where the Nymphs used to bathe.
- The drive to Dion from Thessaloniki is approximately one hour long. - There, we are going to have a guided tour of the beautiful site and its museum. - Next, we drive for approximately 15 minutes to the nearby town of Litochoro. - We can have a walk on mountain Olympus, right through Enipeas gorge, enjoying the beautiful nature. - Then, we can have lunch at a local restaurant and drive back to Thessaloniki. Of course, the tour can be customised to your specific needs!

A modern air-conditioned mercedes taxi or mini van and a professional driver are going to drive us to Olympus, depending on the number of the passengers.
