Hello everybody! My name is Nikos. I am born and raised in the beautiful city of Thessaloniki and this is where I make a living as a professional licensed tour guide. I do have a background in history and archaeology but I strongly believe that a guided tour should not be only about facts and dates. It should also be about the place itself: the people, the unecdotes, the stories that do not fit into history books. So, hopefully, together we are going to not only explore the history and the sights of this magnificent place but also feel the beating heart of the city. I have been providing tours professionally in Thessaloniki and all over Greece for a few years now, but every time feels like a fresh start. There is nothing like being outside, in the open air, with good company and showing the place you love, sharing the details and secrets that make it special. And if I can show you why this place is special to me, then it will become special to you too! I have a few tours planned but, please, do not hesitate to ask me about anything you might want anywhere in northern Greece or maybe all over the country. Share your idea and together we are going to create a brand new experience! I hope I will have the chance of meeting you and showing you around but, if not, enjoy Thessaloniki, enjoy Macedonia, enjoy this amazing place! I am a licensed Tour Guide. BA in History & Archaeology Masters in Black Sea Cultural Studies I only guide in English.

Everyone knows Chalkidiki, the peninsula on northern Greece, for its amazingly beautiful beaches and resorts. However, there is also a different side to it. The mountainous, ancient, unexplored part of it! On this tour we are going to visit the Cave of Petralona, one of the most beautiful caves where the skull of one of the earliest humans was found. Then, we are going to visit the archaeological site of ancient Olinthos, a once uppon a time thriving city that was burnt down to the ground by King of Macedonia Philip II, father of Alexander the Great. Afther this we are heading for Arnaia, one of the hidden gems of northern Greece, a beautiful little town with traditional architecture climbed on a mountain and surrounded by beautiful nature. There we are going to explore the town and have a cup of coffe. On the way back to Thessaloniki there is an optional stop for lunch, for some of the most famous souvlaki of Greece at Agios Prodromos! Of course the tour is highly customisable.
- Pick up at your hotel - Drive to Petralona Cave (45 mins) and visit of the Cave - Drive to ancient Olinthos (30 mins) and visit of the archaeological site - Drive to Arnaia (50 mins), walking around the town admiring the arhcitecture and coffe break - Drive back to Thessaloniki (1 hour) with optional stop for lunch.
