Hello !! My name is Spyridoula and I am a licensed Greek Guide, based in Athens, Greece. Being a licensed guide in Greece means that you have studied for 2 years in a special Guides Academy which is under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Tourism and have traveled all over Greece for ad hoc training. Besides being a guide, I have a solid background in the cultural field. I am a specialist in Archives and Museums Studies as I hold a PHD in the field of Digital Humanities and a Post Doc in a combination of Digital Humanities- Sociology and Economics. I have been an active researcher and university professor- not continuously- in the above fields since 2009 . But I don't give lectures during my tours!! I like having fun with people, because I love people!! Overview of your Athens tour
Acropolis is the most famous and most visited monument of Greece. It is included in UNESCO 's World Heritage List. The Athenian Riviera with the wonder of lake Vouliagmeni is the longest and most beautiful Riviera of Europe. And of course, the temple of Poseidon, at Cape Sounio, is built in a breathtaking landscape. Our tour will start with a tour of Acropolis, then after a short break, we will drive by the Athenian Riviera, the longest coastline a european city has, to the Temple of Poseidon. There, after visiting the temple you can sit for a lunch or refreshment at the wonderful cafe- restaurant which is next to the site and enjoy the breathtaking views and the breeze in summer time. Then, we will drive you back to your hotel This is a customized tour according to your needs.
Your Athens tour itinerary
Meeting in front of your hotel Drive to Acropolis to visit the Parthenon, Erechtheion, Temple of Nike, the theatre of Dionysus and Herodion musical theatre. Climb down from Acropolis and have a short break at a cafe nearby Our driver will pick us up and drive us to the Temple of Poseidon via the Athenian Riviera. Arrival at the Temple of Poseidon Visit of the Temple of Poseidon Optional break for food or drink at the cafe- restaurant next to the Temple Return to your hotel VIP NOTE: As the archaeological sites of Acropolis and of the Temple of Poseidon close by sunset, this varies according to the time of the year.
