Hello !! My name is Spyridoula and I am a licensed Greek Guide, based in Athens, Greece.

Being a licensed guide in Greece means that you have studied for 2 years in a special Guides Academy which is under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Tourism and have traveled all over Greece for ad hoc training.
Besides being a guide, I have a solid background in the cultural field. I am a specialist in Archives and Museums Studies as I hold a PHD in the field of Digital Humanities and a Post Doc in a combination of Digital Humanities- Sociology and Economics. I have been an active researcher and university professor- not continuously- in the above fields  since 2009 .

But I don't give lectures during my tours!! I like having fun with people, because I love people!! I have met people from all over the world, people of various backgrounds and ethnicities and every time I realize that despite our superficial differences, we have too many things in common. So, being a guide is a gift for me!! A gift for the soul and mind!

A beautiful tour in Argolis. Starting with a tour at the famous castle of Nafplio, Palamidi and a walking city tour iin the centre of Nafplio. After a break,we will drive to Mycenae to visit the famous archaeological site of Mycenae, and its museum. There, we will visit the Acropolis of Mycenae, the museum and the famous tomb of Atreas. After a break, we will drive to Argos to visit a local winery.

Athens is a vibrant city, and a must- see destination as it combines history and arts together with gastronomic treasures and a very vivid nightlife.  

 Over the last years, Greek Fashion has started becoming international and a lot of world famous celebrities like Shakira, Jenifer Lopez, Beyonce became its fans.  What are you going to do and see during this tour? We are going to visit three top Greek designers whose ateliers are in the heart of Athens, where you can see and maybe try the collections and also have the chance to talk with the designers or their assistants about the philosophy of their collections and designs. 

It is a 4-hour walking tour, so we are going to walk from one atelier to the other and in the meantime I will present you my city and its centre, talk about its history and architecture. We will definitely need one break for a coffee, tea or snack or two short ones, that's up to you!
