Hello !! My name is Spyridoula and I am a licensed Greek Guide, based in Athens, Greece. Being a licensed guide in Greece means that you have studied for 2 years in a special Guides Academy which is under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Tourism and have traveled all over Greece for ad hoc training. Besides being a guide, I have a solid background in the cultural field. I am a specialist in Archives and Museums Studies as I hold a PHD in the field of Digital Humanities and a Post Doc in a combination of Digital Humanities- Sociology and Economics. I have been an active researcher and university professor- not continuously- in the above fields since 2009 . But I don't give lectures during my tours!! I like having fun with people, because I love people!! I have met people from all over the world, people of various backgrounds and ethnicities and every time I realize that despite our superficial differences, we have too many things in common. So, being a guide is a gift for me!! A gift for the soul and mind! I do tours all over Greece and I am open to special inquiries from my future visitors. I am looking forward to meeting you!!!

The guide speaks very softly and it is difficult to hear what she says. She is also out of breath every 50 meters. Too bad because the tour itself is really nice. And the guide is a nice person. But I would not do a tour with her again unfortunately.

it is too bad that I am not a marathon runner and that you didn't like my voice. Before booking you could have sent me a message to ask how fast I run to the top of Acropolis .I am a licensed guide of the Greek state, the country that together with Italy have the strictest law frame about licensed guides in Europe. I am judged for my knowledge and my attitude.

Spyridoula was charming, but our tour seemed unorganized. The places we stopped were not expecting us. No specialty items were offered or even recommended by our guide. I was told the items we would try were not included in the price, but the price was high enough that it seems like it would be easy to do.
