Athens Original Food Tour

The city of Athens is the El Dorado for food lovers. Especially the city centre gives you the chance to indulge into a gastronomic paradise. My tour actually represents a morning or an afternoon of an Athenian living or spending time in the centre. We will start our tour by tasting a Greek pie - any pie or pies you wish to try. This is a very typical start of a Greek day. Then, we will walk to one of the city's best hidden gems to sit for a coffee or tea. We will continue our tour to one of Greece’s top pastry shops to taste local sweets. For the sugar-free lovers, there are sugar free options. We will continue our tour to have lunch at a legendary restaurant. There you can taste original Greek food at reasonable prices. During our walking tour, I will talk to you about the city’s history, architecture, culinary traditions and anything else you wish to know. This tour can be customised according to your needs

- Meeting in front of Syntagma Metro Station - Short distance walking to the bakery/ bakeries to taste pies - Then, short distance walking to the hidden gem for a coffee/ tea - After having coffee, short distance walking to taste amazing Greek sweets - Then, walking to our restaurant to have lunch - After lunch, I can walk you back to Syntagma Square, if you wish.
