Greetings from beautiful Athens! My name is Eleni and I am an archaeologist. I work as a licensed tour guide in Athens for the last 5 years and these were the best years of my professional life. I enjoy meeting new people and showing them what I have come to love and respect. Athens is a city that offers some of the greatest monuments in the world but Athens is also its people, it is a city full of contradictions lying between the past and the present, a place that you can meet the Greek culture and you can have fun! I would gladly introduce you to Greece and help you to adjust your tour to the interests of your group. Licensed tour guide - Aristotle University of Thessaloniki degree in History and Archaeology

Eleni is a remarkable tour guide. She is extremely knowledgeable in Greek history and is a great story teller. She has a fun personality and my daughter and I spent a memorable day with her visiting the Acropolis, Athens city tour, Cape Sounio and the temple of Poseidon. I’d highly recommend her as your tour guide. She’s the BEST!

Eleni was our guide in Athens for the morning. She is superb in so many ways. Our pre-tour communications were excellent, we met her at the exact place and time she had recommended - both of which were perfect for our situation. Her background in archeology and ancient history meant that she was able to bring to life many of the sites she introduced us to. There...

August 2026Thank you so much for this thoughtful review. I loved exploring Athens with your family, and it was a joy to see the children getting to know the gods and goddesses and asking such wonderful questions! I’m especially glad our time at the Acropolis Museum helped bring everything we had seen together. It was a pleasure meeting you all, and I hope our paths cross again in...
