Acropolis Site and Museum Evening Tour in Athens

We had an wonderful and interesting tour. Ionna has deep knowledge of Greek history and knows lots of stories and anekdotes.

Ioanna was a perfect guide for us. We had our thirteen year old granddaughter with us and Ioanna knew just how to engage her. She was very knowledgable about everything we saw and she knew how to share that knowledge. I also appreciated her ability to organize the tour in a way that saved us time and even kept us out of some of the worst crowds. I highly recommend Ioanna and her tour.

Ioanna is a wonderful guide. She is very knowledgeable and takes good care of her clients. The Acropolis was crowded, but Ioanna knew the exact spots to take us to get the best views and share her wealth of knowledge. The Acropolis Museum can feel overwhelming, but Ioanna took us to some strategic spots to get a good understanding of the highlights. We really enjoyed her and the tours very much.

Ioanna was awesome. To start, she was very helpful in explaining in advance the tickets we would need to purchase and how to get them, picked an easy location to meet, and kept us perfectly on schedule so as to see as much as possible. More importantly, she was a wonderful and engaging storyteller. She was great at explaining what we were looking at, pointing out significant details, with in-depth knowledge of the history, the myths, as well as the way everything was made. When we had questions, she had the expertise to explain things. She was interesting, entertaining, and truly just an overall nice person to spend time with. We started our tour with the museum and then went up to the Acropolis. We all found this to be the perfect way to see everything because it gave context before heading up to the site, and then it allowed us to linger with the incredible views up top after our tour was over. My daughter is an architecture student and a fan of Greek mythology while my husband is a history buff. Having a true archaeologist guide us around, navigate the crowds, and tailor the tour to our interests was so valuable. We all three recommend Ioanna most highly.
