We will visit the most popular and impressive landmark of the city avoiding the morning crowds and the heat. What I love most about this tour is that offers you the chance to see impressive cultural monuments listed in the UNESCO's list, spectacular view of the city and unique masterpieces in the Museum. You will get interesting information about the ancient architecture and learn all about the everyday and religious life of ancient Athens.
Your Athens tour itinerary
We start with the stunning Acropolis Museum. You will view some of the finest examples of ancient Greek Art like the mysterious archaic statues, the elegant Maidens, the unique Parthenon panels, the toys of the ancient Greeks, the items the girls used for their beauty, the cooking vessels. After a short walk on a beautiful pedestrian street we reach the Acropolis site. We marvel the odeon of Herodes, the monumental entrance, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Temple of the Maidens and, of course, Parthenon, the largest and most impressive temple. Latest starting time for this tour in the winter season (1st of November-30 March) is 14:00. From 1st of September as the site close earlier tour may be delivered with another order. Tickets should be purchased online in advance of the tour
