Athens Sightseeing and Cape Sounio Full Day Tour

This tours starts with a visit to the sacred hill of Acropolis. Passing through its monuments you will end up in front of the Parthenon and enjoy a breathtaking view of the city. Next we will drive to the temple of Zeus, the Stadium of the first modern Olympic Games, 1896, and drive up to the highest hill of Athens, Lycabettus, for a panoramic view of the city at the "balcony of Athens". Following our way back to the city center passing through Kolonaki area we will reach the Parliament to see the changing of the guard in front of the tomb of the unknown soldier. Next we will leave Athens driving along the coast of the south suburbs of Athens and by some of the most beautiful sand beaches of Attica peninsula. On the way we will stop at Vouliagmeni Lake, a natural thermal lake known for its therapeutic qualities, and of course you will have your lunch break by the sae. Then we will continiue our drive until cape Sounio to visit the temple of Poseidon and witness the breathtaking view of the Agean Sea.  

This more relaxing tour consists of sightseeing in Athens, a scenic seaside drive, and the magical Cape Sounio. Your day will begin with Acropolis Hill, the highlight of the tour. (1, 5 hours) Passing by the monumental Gate, the temple of Nike and the Oditorium we will end up in front of the Parthenon! Next we will have a drive tour in the city centre to see the temple of Zeus, the Parliament and the Guards, the 1896 Olympic Stadium and many more. (1 hour) After that we will drive following the coast of Attika peninsula to Cape Sounio (1, 5 hours drive) We will visit the temple of Poseidon and you will have free time to eat by the sea or even swim! (1, 5 hours) Lastly we will follow our way back to Athens (1, 5 hours drive) Transportation for more than 6 people can be arranged upon request at an extra cost.
