Half Day Athens City Walking Tour

Eleni was our guide in Athens for the morning. She is superb in so many ways. Our pre-tour communications were excellent, we met her at the exact place and time she had recommended - both of which were perfect for our situation. Her background in archeology and ancient history meant that she was able to bring to life many of the sites she introduced us to. There were two children in our group, and when she began our tour with an introduction to gods, goddesses, and their symbols she used a variety of learning aids to ensure the kids were following along. After touring the various sites she brought us to the Acropolis museum where she was able to fill in many of the details she had touched upon - and this is where her unbelievable background became even more evident. No matter the question we (including the kids) asked her she was able to expound, but in a way that made any of the topics so fascinating. She is a superb guide - we were so lucky to have found her.

Elena was an absolutely perfect guide. She has incredible knowledge of history, is enthusiastic about everything Greek, has a passion for her country. Thoroughly recommend Elena! She is amazing!

Best guide ever in Athens (and we've had a few) Lively, funny, and smart

Excellent, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and pleasant guide with great English skills and ability to concisely distill the most pertinent essence of what we saw. Pace was not too slow, and not too fast. Very open to questions and good to explain details. Tickets to Acropolis and Acropolis museum included. Highly recommend.

We had the most incredible tour with Eleni. She was extremely knowledgeable and clearly knew the history of Athens, and the Acropolis. Very passionate about the history of the Parthenon. She was articulate about the topic and very easy to understand. Had several tours from our cruise ship leading up to our visit to Athens, and nothing compared to the amazing tour she provided.

Our guide Eleni provided an informative and interesting overview of the history of the Acropolis. I thoroughly enjoyed her passion for Greek history interspersed with her humor. We usually spring for private tours because my husband and I enjoy the one on one time with our guide and Eleni was a delightful person to share this Athens experience.
