We'll take a drive to the south part of Chios, which is famous for the medieval or Mastic villages builded in 14th century. Mastic, is a natural gum, that comes out as a resin from the Mastic tree. Known and used for thousands of years as a chewing gum , for cooking and special as a medicine by ancient doctors such as Hippocrates. Used by doctors today and pharmacy companies, as well as for chewing gum, cooking, and cosmetics purposes. We will make a stop nearby a mastic field so you can see a mastic tree and learn all about its cultivation. Afterwards we will visit a traditional pottery shop which makes its own products. Chios pottery is also famous because of its quality and design. Known from the ancient years for the need of the locals and the exportation of Mastic, wine and other special local goods . Then we will visit two more medieval villages. Pirgi "the painted village, known for the designs of its houses and"Olimpi"also. You will immerse yourself with our history, culture and local habits.

Chios is the 5th largest Greek island, world-famous for its mastic tree production, its fortified medieval villages and the warm hospitality of its locals. My vision for this tour is to share the natural beauty of Chios with you in an original, safe, fun & friendly way.

On this full day roadtrip, we'll follow the summer lover's traditional vacation style: splitting our tour between local sightseeing with interesting visits (unique villages & museums) and simply enjoying the sun (always protected by sunscreen).

We'll explore the narrow streets of Mesta and chill out in Apothika beach where we'll have the chance to go on a sea kayak to explore the area's crystal clear water. If you're intrested in caves, we'll also be able to visit Olympoi, a small but very intresting cave, before visiting the turquoise waters of Agia Dinami Beach.

Hello from Chios! Let me introduce you to a new Wine destination located in the North West of my lovely island!

On this tour we will go on a relaxed drive to Egrigoros, a village found 59 km from Chios town, where we'll visit Ariousios Winery. This winery has 2500 years of history, and produces Black Wine, one of the most famous of the island, which was even tasted by Homer, the author of the Odyssey & the Illiad. Here you'll enjoy a guided tasting of a variety of selected wines accompanied by local food specialties (greek tapas).

Next stop is the medieval Volissos village where we have a short walk from the central square to Volissos castle with the amazing view of the aegean and the north west coast.

Departure from meeting point I will drive you to Kampos area. Kampos was built in the 14th century. It is an area full of orchards with lemons, tangerines, oranges , citrus and other trees. Awesome stone mansions surrounded by stone walls and narrow streets.

Depending on the season you can walk between the blooming trees and breath the fragrance of its flowers, or see, taste and smell its fruits. I will walk you to the narrow streets of this unique agriculture area "The hidden paradise" for around an hour and I will guide you to the history culture , and habits of locals. we will and up in an orchard and a museum.

There we can take a break for a coffee tea or fresh juice from its fruits and taste their homemade marmalade and sweets. After I will drive you little bit further to Agia Fotini area so you can see a Mastic tree and I will explain to you all about its cultivation. At the end I will drive you back to the point of departure.

On this tour, we'll visit Kallimasia village, one of the 24 mastic villages. Together we will check its Forklore museum, one of my favorite little gems of Chios.

Later along the tour we will also follow a path among cultivated Skinos trees in order to reach the field of my family, where we will talk about this special tree and learn the steps of mastiha production.

In this Red Stones Tour, we will pass by the village of Thymiana which is known for the cultivation of the red-brown stone that is widely used in building upscale homes in Kambos, as well as to build several churches in the island.

Kambos has been characterized as a historic traditional settlement, due to its special historical interest. The whole area is surrounded by an endless garden of citrus trees such as oranges, lemons and mandarin, which is considered sweeter, more aromatic, and ideal for juicing.
