Ciao! I am Silvia. I am happy to "virtually" meet you here! This is a wonderful opportunity for me to let you know how much I love my hometown and how proud I am to have had the privilege to be raised in such a unique environment. Venice is totally different from all the other places you may have ever visited in your life; people here are different! Imagine fighting daily against the elements to survive on the water. . . well this is quite a challenge! I am here to help you to understand how this was made possible more than 1500 years ago! I am not only a Licensed Tourist Guide but a Tour Leader too. I have always travelled in my own life and worked as an inbound operator in Venice and all over Italy for more than 15 years, both things combined are definitely a "plus" because I have a strong attitude to problem solving and great experience inside and outside the office which is not always offered by the people working in tourism. I studied at the technical Institute for Tourism in Venice and then got my graduation in foreign languages always working in the tourism business since the very beginning as a hostess doing transfers. The aspect that I love the most about my job is that I always get in touch with new people and I can customize the tours for my clients: age, mobility issues, interests. . . it is always a surprise! All my tours are customizable, we can always make arrangements and adapt the tours to your needs before you book them. I hope we can meet very soon here in Venice or in the Veneto Region which has a lot to offer: art, nature, tasty food and great wines! NOTICE From May 1st to October 31st - high season - my availability is very changeable so I suggest you contact me before booking. NOTICE FOR TRAVELLERS ON A CRUISE SHIP If you'll be in Venice staying on a cruise ship and just in transit unfortunately I can't get any bookings. National Tourist Guide License 155 (exam taken in Ravenna) Tour Leader License (Venice Province) Venice Jewish Community Authorized Guide for Synagogues I am a licensed guide, no restrictions at all.

The best way to get to know this one of a kind Art City is to hire a super expert licensed local guide like me! Born and raised in Venice, where I did all my studies, I know the city like the back of my hands. During the tour basic information about Venice's history and the important monuments that are considered MUST SEE attractions will be provided. St. Mark's square with its enchanting Cathedral housing the relics of Mark the Evangelist, the Belltower and the imposing Floral Gothic style Doge's Palace. An amazing view on St. Mark's basin where boats and galleys used to stop in the past. The Rialto Bridge which was the first bridge to be built across the Grand Canal. We will then indulge through the narrow alleys to discover the real unknown Venice. Tour is external only in order to maximize your time and get the best of Venice.
-I will wait for you in St. Mark's square and you will learn about all the important monuments in it: The 2 Big Columns, The Doge's Palace and the Bridge of Sighs, St. Mark's Basilica, The Clock Tower, Marciana Library, Procurators' Offices and Napoleonic Wing. -After that we will leave the only Piazza in town to reach the old commercial hub of the town known as Rialto but before we will visit some corners normally neglected by the big crowd. -We will leave the crowd behind for a while in order to get an amazing view of the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge. -During this tour you will be supplied with information about museums, exhibitions, concerts, where to eat, how to move around - and what to avoid!
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
