Hi, I've been working as a tour guide since 2018. I moved to Venice once finished the high school to study at the Cà Foscari University, and then I stayed. I love Venice for being such unique, an incredible stand-alone reality, and a place where the human contact is still very present and part of the daily life. Despite its small size, Venice has thousands of sides to be discovered and several labyrinths where to get lost. Discovering Venice with me means looking her through an experienced local's eyes, fell in love with this city. I love traveling and experience new places, cultures and habits. I love the outdoors, walking, and sharing my experience with my guests. I think that meeting different people with different cultures and backgrounds has an inestimable value. Would you love to visit the gems of the Lagoon, but you are afraid of getting stuck in the tourist crowds of the public transportation, missing the chance to catch the magic of that moment? Don't worry, taking this tour, you will be able to admire the beauty of the islands in a relaxed mood. This is not the only reason that makes this experience unique. We will admire the traditional art of the glassblowing technique in a glass factory where artisans still work faithful to traditions. I'll lead you to an exclusive glass factory where we'll be given the white-glove treatment. After a full immersion in the magic of the glassmaking art, you'll be fascinated by the colorful houses in Burano, you'll feel like Alice in Wonderland! You'll be then enchanted by the skillful hands of an elderly lacemaker, who still works with passion. There's no best way to end the day with a nice walk on the island inhabited by Franciscan friars. There, we'll be welcomed and guided by one of them, immersed in nature and holiness.
-We will start the tour on our private boat directed to Murano. -During the journey, you will have the possibility to enjoy the beautiful landscape of the lagoon from an exclusive point of view, making wonderful pictures. -Once arrived in Murano, famous all over the world for the glass blowing art, we will visit a furnace to see how craftsmen still make it by hand. -After a nice stroll to see the main sites of the island, we will proceed to Burano. There, your eyes will be enraptured by the colors of the houses and by the skill of the lacemakers. -After a break for a good lunch, our journey will continue to the peaceful island where we will be welcomed by the franciscan frairs that live in the monastery where will be guided in. -Walking on the garden rich with trees and flowers, where friars grow vegetable and fruits, will be possible to enjoy a lovely panorama of the Venice lagoon, embraced by a bucolic atmosphere. -We will then return back to Venice by boat.
