I've been living in Venice's area since I was 7 years old, and the years spent here gave me the time to know even little details in Venice and to develop a love for this city. My History degree gave me knowledge which I'm prepared to share with you, and I'll take you back to the past as we explore Venice's highlights and secret zones, as well the zones around Venice (Padua, the Brenta River. . . ). My greatest passion is to discover new stories and to tell them in the most relaxed way. Do you want to hear funny, scary or emotional stories? Or all of them? Do you need to find the perfect place to enjoy a break? I'm your guy. My strenghts are patience, friendliness and humor. See you in Venice! History degree at Venice's University Ca' Foscari and national tour guide license (Modena, nr. 335) None.

Not only the highlights, but also many hidden gems. We will discover the famous St Mark's square, the little known alleys and canals, a shop of handmade masks, a magnificent palazzo, where to find the best souvenirs while experiencing venetian life. And it doesn't end here. In the second day we will explore the medieval city of Padua (just half an hour away from Venice), finding the celebrated St Anthony's church, an unforgettable palace of Justice, the hidden hallway of martyrs, a historical café, and the countryside with its villas. In both cities we will have time to enjoy italian food - we will find the best places for lunch and pastries - and if you wish, wine. All of this with no rush and pure pleasure. The tour can be personalized according to your needs, so don't hesitate to let me know your preferences.
DAY 1: Venice. We will see St Mark's square, the underrated Rezzonico palace, the basilica St Mary of Health, one of the Grand Schools, the Academy's bridge, the less known venetian squares, the famous bookshop Acqua Alta and the mask shop Ca' Macana. We will stop for lunch in a great restaurant and have breaks for pastries, cicchetti and wine. DAY 2: Padua and the Brenta River. In the mornig we will visit Padua (Eremitani church, Palace of Reason, Caffè Pedrocchi, St Anthony, St Justina, Prato della Valle) and have lunch there. In the afternoon we will disover the countryside and visit one of the villas in the Brenta River. If you wish, you can enter in the labyrinth in Villa Pisani.

Mostly we will walk. Padua can be reached from venice both by train or bus, while to see the villas on the Brenta river (the countryside) and get back to Venice we will take the bus. If you prefer to use a private vehicle, contact me for the details.
