For the records I love to add a lot of curiosities about many important people who left their mark in the city like Giacomo Casanova, the famous courtesan Veronica Franco and so on to keep you well entertained in our 3 hour tour! Let's dive in the millennial history of this unique city walking in narrow streets, crossing pictoresque tiny bridges and feeling the atmosfere of the majestic Saint Mark Square. This tour will cover 3 districts and my aim is to give you the good balance between the center and some off-the-beaten-track areas. At the end of my tour you will say you had experieced the real Venice!
Let's meet in Campo San Polo, one of my favourite Campo and learn more about Venitian architecture and the past life in Venice. Did you know that in Venice there was a red light quarter? Let's see the stunning view from the top of Rialto Bridge. Find out why Venetian Carnival was the most fascinating event visiting one authentic mask artisan shop. Did you know that in the city there is a hidden second hand bookshop that self-proclaimed "most beautiful bookstore in the world"? Before reaching the gorgious Piazza San Marco I'll show you another stunning Campo where we can focus on some interesting details and, why not, have a break with a Gelato or a good coffee.
