Raised in the United States, I have spent half my life immersed in the culture and diversity of American life. My journey took a beautiful turn when I moved to Venice, Italy, to reconnect with my Italian heritage through my mother. This relocation opened my eyes to the stunning architecture, vibrant art scene, and exquisite cuisine that define this enchanting city. My experiences traveling and living in these two distinct worlds have equipped me with a fresh perspective and a passion for sharing the beauty and history of Venice. As a local, I'm eager to introduce visitors to the hidden treasures of this remarkable city, ensuring they experience the authentic essence of Venetian llife. I organize customized tours based on your personal interests and I provide my guests with information on transportation, local events, monuments and, of course, our most traditional and captivating restaurants. I have a strong understanding of how our city works, I strongly respect this majestic lagoon and I can guarantee full satisfaction in exploring the most beautiful sites that Venice has to offer. It will be an unforgettable journey! Licensed Tour Leader living in Venice for over 20 years.

What better way to understand the Venetian traditions than through its culture of food and wine? Discover the culinary folklore of Venice thanks to a 2 hour tour where you can immerse yourself in the atmosphere of local taverns and taste the famous Ventian cicchetti served with excellent wine. One of the many ways to explore Venice is with a bacaro tour. Taking a tour of bacari means taking a break, chatting with friends while walking from one 'bacaro' to another and eating cicchetti and drinking Italian wine, exploring a new facet of the city. Come with me to discover the best itineraries to follow, giving you the chance to empathize with the true Venetian spirit!
The most convenient meeting place for the tour is at Santa Lucia train station. We will then proceed to pass through Strada Nova, a well-known alleyway that connects the train station to the Rialto bridge. This tour is mainly spent along Fondamenta degli Ormesini, a classical and typical Venetian area composed of bacari and restaurants where we will enjoy a few bites. Not only will this be a one and only culinary experience, but it will also give you the opportunity to visit the first Jewish ghetto in Europe, where a souvenir photo is a must! * This itinerary can be customized upon request.
