I was born in Chios, the island where Homer - the blind poet of antiquity - lived, and wrote the poems of Iliad and Odyssey. Overview of your Athens tour
We'll start the tour driving from Athens or from Piraeus port by following the coastal road to Corinth. First stop will be the Corinth canal which connects the Peloponnese with the mainland Greece.We'll stop there for pictures for 20 minutes.After the Canal we are going to visit the Ancient city state of Corinth.You'll see there the Doric temple of Apollo 530 BC the museum the Vema of Apostle Paul ,the Roman forum and the Acrocorinth which is the Acropolis of Ancient Corinth.After we are going to the famous region of Nemea, which has been known since ancient times as the area where Hercules killed the lion.There are about 40 wineries there we are going to visit one or two of them to taste 4 different winnies and then we are going for your lunch at a traditional Greek restaurant.
