Welcome to Athens! My name is Elena. I am a licensed guide and I specialize in offering thoughtfully curated tours for travelers seeking understanding of Greece through engaging storytelling and authentic experiences. This perspective is woven throughout my walking tours, as well as my guided experiences at the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum, and other remarkable destinations. My academic background includes university degrees in History and Theology, as well as Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Medieval Studies, with a specialization in medieval travel and intercultural contacts. This perspective allows me to present Athens not only as a collection of monuments, but as a living crossroads of cultures, ideas, and historical continuity. Travel has always been an essential part of my life. Having lived in different countries, studied at international universities, and being part of an international family, I feel very much at home welcoming travelers from around the world.
