I was born and raised in a small village in Greece, on Apollo's mountain Parnassus. I studied tourism management and have been working in tourism for more than 30 years. My passion is history and mythology, I love nature, traveling, reading and socializing with people. I have been dealing with tours for the last 6 years and having worked in the entire spectrum of Tourism, I discovered that it is what suits me best. Overview of your Athens tour

In a 7 hours tour we will visit the most emblematic spots of Athens and you will get to know its history, people, neighborhoods and food. It is impossible to get to know Athens without walking, but also impossible to walk everywhere in one day. So I designed a tour that is a combination of driving and walking, with enough breaks between each destination to make it easy for everyone to follow. Also, this tour is private, so it can easily be tailored to your needs, if desired. So let's get to know together the most important city of antiquity where, over the centuries, everyone passed through.

Highly recommend Pan for your tour. We arrived by cruise ship and he picked us up at the port with all of our luggage. Saves you the headache of arriving to hotel and there is no early check in available. Pan was great with the history and combined walking & driving. Pan was accommodating as we made last minute changes to our tour. We were all day and we did stop at restraunt for lunch, he selected great place. I believe name is Egg of the Rooster. Pan also great communicator; we found each other easily at the port.

Your Athens tour itinerary

* Pick up and drive at Thisio area * Walking tour for around 30 minutes and visit: - Observatory, Pnyx, Filopappou hill / Prison of Socrates * Acropolis of Athens and the Slopes - Propylaia, Parthenon, Erechthion, Temple of Athina Nike, Odeon, Aslepios sanctuary, Dionysus theater * Walking tour for around 1 hour and visit: - Anafiotika area, Plaka, Ancient and Roman Agora, Tower of the winds, Hadrian's Library, Byzantine churches * Lunch at Monastiraki area in a typical Greek restaurant. * Driving tour for 1-1, 5 hour and visit: Central meet and fish market of Athens, Syntagma square and the Parliament, Temple of Zeus, Kallimarmaro Stadium, Academy of Athens, Lycabettus hill * Drop off at your place.
