A warm hello to all guests that visit my profile. A few things about myself; ith a lifelong commitment to the travel industry, I bring a wealth of experience, having served as a tour director/escort for a leading Athens-based travel agent/tour operator. In 2012, I took my passion for Hellas and history to the next level, obtaining a professional driving license and acquiring an exquisite 8-seater minibus, meticulously equipped to ensure your comfort and enjoyment throughout our adventures. I specialize in intimate groups ranging from 2 to 8 persons, allowing you to truly experience Greece beyond the typical tourist lens. As a firm believer that travel is a multisensory experience, I craft journeys that go beyond the ordinary. My tours are designed to stimulate your vision, engage your sense of smell and taste, and evoke a profound connection with the rich history and culture of Hellas. It's not just about seeing landmarks; it's about feeling the pulse of the land and forging connections with its people. Whether you're drawn to the ancient wonders of Athens, the scenic landscapes of the mainland, or the hidden gems off the beaten path, I am here to transform your visit into an unforgettable adventure. Let me be your guide, weaving stories of history, culture, and local life into a tapestry of memories that will linger long after your journey concludes. Feel free to explore my credentials and get in touch for any additional information you may require. I look forward to welcoming you aboard for an enriching and personalized Greek Odyssey. Until then, happy travels! "If Greece decomposes, the end will be left with an olive tree, a vine, and a ship. Meaning: Having one more of each, can be reborn. " ODYSSEAS ELYTIS, poet. Nobel Prize Literature (1979). This exceptional Greek poet describes best the character of Greece and the characteristics of this tour! NEMEA is a region for its wine production and also very-well known from mythology, it is the place of the 1st "Labor" of mighty Hercules, and its archaeological site of Ancient Nemea. We can see the restored Sanctuary of God Zeus, the baths, the Museum, and the stadium where the "Nemean" Games took place. A must-see is the perfectly preserved vaulted entrance of the athletes to the stadium. Our next destination NAUPLION, the first capital of Greece, is (in my opinion) the best place to conclude this tour. A picturesque seaside town rested at the foot of Palamidi fortress. The 19th century town is calling you to stroll around the small streets and explore the small cozy shops and tavernas.
- We set off on the "Athens-Corinth" National Highway. On our way, we see Salamis, where a famous sea battle took place, between the Greeks and Persians in 480 B. C - In 1 hour, we'll have a photo stop at the impressive Canal of Corinth with time for rest and coffee. - We will continue to Nemea and visit our first winery; local varieties such as "Agiorgitiko" and "Kydonitsa" are waiting for you! Your hostess will guide and educate you through this "journey" (it will last around 1 hour). - Before your second visit, you'll have the chance to see the Archaeological site of Nemea, where the Temple of Zeus, the baths, the Museum and the Ancient Stadium are (40-50 min). - On to the second winery to know more about vineyards, production procedures and tasting etiquettes. - The last part of our tour takes us to Nauplion, the first capital of Greece, a picturesque & charming seaside town. - Around 17:00, we will drive back to Athens.
