Hello !! My name is Spyridoula and I am a licensed Greek Guide, based in Athens, Greece. Being a licensed guide in Greece means that you have studied for 2 years in a special Guides Academy which is under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Tourism and have traveled all over Greece for ad hoc training. Besides being a guide, I have a solid background in the cultural field. I am a specialist in Archives and Museums Studies as I hold a PHD in the field of Digital Humanities and a Post Doc in a combination of Digital Humanities- Sociology and Economics. I have been an active researcher and university professor- not continuously- in the above fields since 2009 . But I don't give lectures during my tours!! I like having fun with people, because I love people!! I have met people from all over the world, people of various backgrounds and ethnicities and every time I realize that despite our superficial differences, we have too many things in common. Temple of Poseidon at Sounio is at the southest end of the metropolitan region of Athens. Following a majestic route by the sea, you will visit one of Greece's most iconic archaeological sites with views that will follow you for ever. We will drive by the Athenian Riviera, the longest coastline a european city has, to the Temple of Poseidon. There, after visiting the temple you can sit for a lunch or refreshment at the wonderful cafe- restaurant which is next to the site and enjoy the breathtaking views and the breeze in summer time. Then, we will drive you back to your hotel . This is a customized tour accordiing to your needs.
