Hello from Greece, My name is Xenofontas! I was born and raised in Athens. I am a graduate of the University of Economics and I worked for years as an accountant until my passion for history and culture led me to quit accounting and work as a driver tour guide in a tourist office. I have been working for the past 10 years as a professional licensed tour driver all over Greece. I spent several years as a driver tour guide gaining the necessary experience and finally created my own travel business. I have a license from the Ministry of Tourism. In order to improve the quality of my services to travelers, I studied and graduated of Master of Business of Tourism and at the same time passed the exams and obtained a proficiency certification of Michigan University. With years of experience and love for tourism, I organize private minivan tours, providing all the comforts to the customers. The minivans are new vehicles and in excellent condition, offering customers all modern comforts such as air conditioning and WiFi. During a trip I want to give information, to tell stories like myths so that the client can assimilate the culture and the traditional with the best way. Greece is a country with a rich cultural heritage and history and offers me the opportunity to share my knowledge with people who are interested in learning about our culture and civilization. I feel very lucky doing this job. Every time on the tour I will give my best so that travelers can learn useful things about modern Greece, ancient Greece, food, traditions, arts and culture I am a guide-driver but not a licensed guide . This means I provide many information, but I don't follow you inside of the historical monuments. My aim is the travellers get an unforgettable experience.

When I was young child, I visited the archeological site of Delphi for first time with my parents, but I still remember how impressed I was. Then, I started reading history to learn more. It is impressive to see the authentic facilities from ancient years and during the trip listen the secrets and mythology about Ancient Delphi. Join in me to explore together the historical city Delphi, which is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in having had a great influence in the ancient world. I will travel you to a historical trip that you will see many sights for different historical eras. From Ancient temples from B.C. period in Delphi, I will transfer you at a Monastery from Byzantine Period. You will see in the monastery the most important monuments of Middle Byzantine art and architecture and is on the list of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites. Let's have a historical day to discover all the mythology and history from Delphi.
Tour guide picked me promptly from my hotel and took me to Delphi. The car was very comfortable. It is a long drive from Athens, so we were able to have a quick break for coffee and some Greek snacks. He also introduced me to a delicious Greek restaurant where we were able to have a very delicious Greek meal near Delphi. I will book again next time I go to Greece.

Superb!!! There’s aren’t enough words to express my gratitude, appreciation, and awe! for the formal sites of this tour (Delphi, Osios Loukas monastery, Arachova Village) and the few unplanned stops along the way. Xenofontas is wonderful, pleasant communicative, humorous, and a Wealth of knowledge. (he’s also very! patient as I had a hotel issue that needed fixing along the way). We spoke of historical wonders, present persectives, shared philosophical and practical thoughts and wisdom. The day was a journey into the past with reflections of the present. Booking was easy, we chatted a bit in the website. Communication once in Athens was streamlined via WhatsApp. Easy breezy. Highly recommend this tour and it’s brilliant host Xenofontas!
• After your breakfast, I will pick up from your hotel. We will drive from Αthens to Delphi with private transportation (MiniVan or car). • We will see Livadia a traditional village known from the production of cotton. • Our first station is at Osios Loukas Monastery from Byzantine Perio (World Heritage Site by UNESCO). • Next station is Delphi archeological site World Heritage Site by UNESCO (Temple of Apollo, The Tholos of Athena Pronaia). I will have booked your tickets in order to skip the line. • Then Delphi museum. • After two hours visiting at archeological site and museum. We will visit Arachova to enjoy at your own pace the traditional village. It is the best option for free time to walk or lunch. I will suggest you some restaurants with traditional greek food. • Finally, in 2 hours we will be back in Athens and I drop you off at your hotel. • Also this tour itinerary is customizable to fit your visit plans, so please do not hesitate to contact with me.
