Yiannis is a wonderful guide and we had a great tour with him, visiting the sites of Corinth, Mycenae and Nafplion. Even though he is unable to enter the ancient sites, the knowledge that he has of them that he provided to us before we entered was exceptional. He also made a couple of little side trips that were not in the tour schedule and we were able to experience more great history. The drive through the country was also great. Your Athens tour itinerary
- Morning pick up from accommodation in Athens or your cruise ship pier at Piraeus port. - Travel along the coastal road of the Saronic golf. - Visit the Archaeological Site of ancient Corinth and its museum. - Visit the house of Aquila and Priscilla where Paul worked and lived. - Stop and visit the famous Corinth canal that connects the Aegean Sea with the Ionian Sea. -Then travel through the citron fields and vineyards. - Visit Maceane home of cyclopean walls, rich in gold and hostory. - Wonder around the pedestrian old town of Nafplion, an amphitheatrical coastal historical city. - Take gorgeous Instagram photos of Palamidi fortress & Bourgi Little Island with a small castle on the top. - Then drive and visit Nafplion, a picturesque town on the water. - Return to Athens and drop off at the same place I've picked you up from.
