I was born and raised in a small village in Greece, on Apollo's mountain Parnassus. I studied tourism management and have been working in tourism for more than 30 years. My passion is history and mythology, I love nature, traveling, reading and socializing with people. Overview of your Athens tour
Peloponnese is one of the most beautiful and interesting places in Greece. * Mycenae is a place mythical but also real, it is one of the oldest Greek cultures, but here the myths dominate. It is not only Agamemnon and Clytemnestra, but also Orestes and Electra. Besides, according to the legend, the founder of the city was the mythical Perseus, the murderer of Medusa, son of Danae and Zeus. * Nafplio was the first Capital city of free Greece, before Athens and today is one of the most charming cities in Greece and a favorite destination of couples. * Epidaurus was the most important healing center of the whole Greek and Roman world, mainly for mental illnesses, for the healing of the soul. Here was the seat of the god / physician Asclepius, son of Apollo, after all according to the myth, he was born here. * The castle of Acro Corinth is an impressive castle in Greece with a long history. Here acted Knights Templar, Venetians, Byzantines, ancient Greeks and mythical personalities such as Pegasus and Hercules.

Pan went above and beyond for us! I asked for advice on "must sees" for a historian, we crafted an agenda, and he even helped me with sites for a different day. When my sister's plane delay caused her to miss the Acropolis, he added on an early morning view from the a hill across from it. Due to our interest in SO much of what we saw, we took 1 1/2 hrs longer than expected. He didn't even complain! He seems to love his country and is passionate about sharing what he loves. I am so glad we went with him!

This was our second tour/experience with Pan (we did his Delphi tour the day before). What we saw the day before, was confirmed. He is knowledgeable and engaging. He would show us things during the ride and answered all our questions. History, archeology, mythology and greek life in general were all topics he would tackle with ease. At the end of our tour, my young children ran to him to give him a hug as he was part of our family for two fantastic days.

* Corinth Canal: Right there is the entrance to the Peloponnese and the view is magnificent. * The castle of Acro Corinth * View of Nemea: We will also pass through Nemea and the wine roads of the Peloponnese. Apart from the excellent wine produced here, it is also interesting that here is the place of the mythical Hercules. * Archaeological site of Mycenae: Here is the kingdom of Homeric Agamemnon, the leader of the Greeks in the battle of Troy. We will see the cyclopean walls, the tombs of Agamemnon and Clytemnestra and the gate of the Lions * Ancient Tyrinth: On our way to Nafplio we will pass by ancient Tirynth, also an UNESCO monument. * Nafplio: We will take our walks, get to know it and have lunch. * Ancient Epidaurus: Medicine was born here! We will see the Temples of Apollo, Artemis and Asclepius, the ancient stadium, the "well" where patients fell into hypnosis, where the god Asclepius showed them the way of healing and of course the most perfect ancient Greek theater of 14. 000 seats.
