Maria arranged for a van and driver and we drove away from Athens to see the history and learn about life during earlier times. This is very worthwhile after viewing Athens main sights. It was a long day but we saw so much. Maria recommended a great restaurant for lunch.

This was a long day for everyone but well worth it. Maria is an excellent guide and the transport provided was first rate. Maria has vast amounts of knowledge about ancient Greece and its monuments and her English is impeccable. Our 4 children loved listening to her tell all the ancient myths as we drove between sites. Corinth Canal and Mycenae are well worth a visit for anyone considering a day trip from Athens. Happy to recommend Maria.
Your Athens tour itinerary
Starting from Athens we will drive south to the Pelopponese. The first stop will be over the Corinth Canal where we will walk on the bridge. Then we will continue to mythical Mycenae where we will visit the palace of Agamemnon the king that lead the Greeks again the Trojans. Then we will continue towards Nafplio, a picturesque coastal town which was the former capital of modern Greece. After lunch we will continue to Epidavros, the sanctuary of the God of medicine where we will see the most well preserved theatre of ancient Greece. We will return back to Athens in the late afternoon. If you are interested in this tour please message me first before placing a booking.
