Meteora Full Day Tour from Athens

I do not regularly write a review; however, our trip to Meteora with Nikolas was so exceptional it would we wrong to leave others without knowledge of the experience. Meteora is a four hour drive from Athens, so I appreciate that it may not be on everyone's bucket list. I would sacrifice seeing any other site in Greece to experience Meteora. My husband and I consider our experience with Nikolas and Meteora to be the most exceptional day we have spent in our world journeys - anywhere. Nikolas is refined, well-educated and delightful. We would likely have enjoyed only spending eight hours with him in his lovely, clean Mercedes, learning about him, his family and Greece. But he not only selected two of the best monastaries for us to hike to, he completely surprised us by using his drone license to video the two of us at the top of the Monastery of the Holy Trinity and then fly it around the rock formation to provide perspective. WIthout exception our friends and family have been stunned by the video. We left Greece feeling the nation is fortunate to have young men such as Nicolas.

Nicholas was a charming guide throughout our full day trip to the monasteries of Meteora. He related important battles and landmarks along the way, answered our many questions about Greek history, religion, and culture and made stops at important landmarks along the way. His van was comfortable and clean, and he is an excellent and safe driver. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Nicholas and highly recommend his services.

Awesome, awesome experience. Nikolas was wonderful. Felt like we were visiting a Greek friend who was showing us his homeland. Meteora was amazing. We had a couple of lovely guides who were very knowledgable. Nikolas will be the first person we call when we return to Greece.
