Hi! My name is Ioannis , native Athenian, grown up in this spectacular city. I love to travel, meet people and learn about their cultures. Furthermore, I have travelled to many places. Some of them are in North America, Europe, due to my previous job as an Export Manager. In my trips all over the world I discovered many hidden gems of the cities I have visited. That was accomplished due to locals that pointed out to me these spots. Now it is my turn to be your tour guide in Greece. With my help we will unlock the beauties of my city, day and night. I know all the "in" and quality places that Athenians love, so that you can have a unique experience. I also love the sea and I am spearfishing hunting from the age of 11. I had for many years a speed boat and I know where to have a great time swimming, tanning or snorkeling near Athens. Furthermore, I can lead you to great hidden beaches with turquoise waters where you will feel relaxed. My intention is also to share stories and tips and I am sure that you will have unforgettable moments and memories and ultimately you will feel as a local! Ioannis is a wonderful, kind, caring, patient, and easy going tour guide. He planned a great day for us, had a great car, and knew everything about the area. We had a few glitches that were 100% our fault and he rolled with them and helped us like it was no big deal. He really went above and beyond. We found out he can basically plan anything you want. So great creative and hire this guy. When we come back to Greece, we are using him a LOT as this guy is first class all the way!

During my time in Athens there was a heatwave with temperatures consistently over 100°. It was too hot to spend any time at Lake Vouliagmeni, given that the only chairs available for rent were in the direct sun. Ioannis suggested a different itinerary. He took me on a beautiful drive along the Athens Riviera with a visit to the Temple of Poseidon. Afterwards, I had an amazing seafood lunch next to the beach. It ended up being a very enjoyable day. I would highly recommend Ioannis.
Your Athens tour itinerary
- After the pick up we will head south to the beautiful Lake Vouliagmeni. - You can have your Thermal SPA refreshing swim at the lake and gaze the unique surroundings. There is also the option to have a rejuvenation massage and relax. - We will continue with a lunch either inside Lake Vouliagmeni or at a nearby tavern tasting some traditional Greek dishes and delicacies. - Later on, it is time to go for a visit to a local ice cream store that has flavours that only there you will taste. - After the "chocolate overdose" it is time to return back.
