Hello or geia (as as my fellow Greeks would say)! My name is Angela, and I just love showing off the Greek capital, Athens. I was born in Greece, grew up in Australia and returned to rediscover my roots. Coming from a multi-national country I love meeting people from all around the globe and learning something new every time. I am more than happy to share my knowledge of Greek history and amazing culture with our international friends! Walking is hobby of mine and showing people the things, I have discovered in the nooks and crannies of Athens, is my passion. If you want to see or taste something out of the ordinary join me and I will show you an Athens you never knew existed. All my tours can be personalized according to your preferences, please do not hesitate to ask! Come join me and be an adventurer, not just a tourist. - I have worked in the tourist industry for over fifteen years mostly in islands and Athens. - As a Greek-Australian I was schooled in Australia and speak both languages fluently I am not a licensed guide and will not be able to guide you inside of the Museums and Archaeological Sites.

Just like Rome and Constantinople, Athens is also a city of seven hills. Folklore has it that a metropolis with seven hills is an eternal city. For Athens these hills are: the Acropolis, of course, the Hill of the Muses, Mars Hill, Pnyx Hill, the Hill of the Nymphs and Lycabettes Hill. These hills surround the Acropolis as if to protect or pay homage to her. Let's discover the highest two hills, The Hill of the Muses and Lycabettess Hill, together. Just a short walk from Syntagma Square is the uptown suburb of Kolonaki and the foot of Lycabettes Hill (10- 15 mins). As the highest hill In Athens, it has an amazing view. It is a bit of a climb so we will take funicular up (and walk down if you wish). After refreshments, we will continue through the city passing many points of interest, to the Hill of the Muses (55-60 mins) for another spectacular view.
Set of from Syntagma Square Walk to Lycabettes Hill Go to highest point, Church of St. George Take in the scenery amazing photo opportunities Stop at the cafe on the fill for refreshments Walk back to the historic center National Garden Hadrians Arch The temple of Zeus Zappeio Roman Baths The Church of St, Cathrine Lunch Hill of the Muses The Church of St. Demitrios Loumbardiaris Socrates Jail Philopappou Monument Mousaios resting place Return to Acropolis Metro Station End of tour
