Thomas was a joy to tour with. He knew his material, was very friendly and approachable, and he had great English skills so was easy to understand. His ability to adapt made the experience feel completely personalised. My wife and I booked a tour of Athens (our first visit), wishing to avoid the several impersonal group tours we experienced in Italy a few years ago. Thomas was our guide and accommodated the schedule a bit due to some unfriendly morning weather. Within an hour of meeting him, we would have invited him to a holiday dinner at our home. He was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the City. He was fun just to talk to and hang with! He moved at our pace, which was especially important for my wife--no rushing through it and Thomas was willing to answer all our questions. When you have someone who is so knowledgeable, that sparked our natural curiosity. He offered up some dining suggestions even before we arrived and shared some of his favorite flavors of the City. Who doesn't love a tour with snacking! After spending the day with Thomas, we missed him, easily could have had dinner with him, and would encourage anyone to enjoy his hospitality.
