Often, during the high season of tourism, the Acropolis is crowded and quite hot. This is avoided in this tour. Designed specifically to avoid the crowds and the heat. It starts late in the afternoon and by the time it finishes the sun is setting, giving a magical colour to the monuments! Especially on Fridays, the Acropolis museum closes at 10 pm! So this can be a very pleasant visit, even in the hottest days of summer, and a unique experience, because even if you have been to Athens before, this time of the day offers a special feeling that you don't get in the morning.
• We can start with the New Acropolis Museum. In its beautiful, airconditioned galleries we get all the necessary information in order to understand the Acropolis and admire the sculptures that originally decorated the temples up on the Rock. • Afterwards, when it is cooler, we go up to the Acropolis and enjoy impressive views to the Parthenon and the other monuments, as well as a panoramic view to the city of Athens. • On Fridays we can start with the Acropolis and then visit the museum that closes at 10pm on that day. Tour can be customized upon request, visit only the Acropolis or only the museum. The order of the visit may vary due to different closing times of the monuments depending on the season.
