Your Athens tour itinerary
We start from your hotel, the cruise terminal or some other meeting point and through the Sacred Road we'll reach the Dafni Monastery - a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the 11th century Byzantine monastery. You'll see and experience during the tour the remaining ancient trails of the Sacred Way, Roman bridge. Continue to the coastal town of Elefsina, the birthplace of Aeschylus and home to the most famous secret society of the ancient world. For nearly 2,000 years, the Eleusinian Mysteries promised initiates hope for a better life after death. We'll visit the town of Eleusis and we'll explore the archaeological museum of Eleusis and the archaeological site of Eleusis (the Greater Propylaea, Telesterion, Plutonion. After the tour we come back to Athens.
