If you want to go deeper in myths and history join the tour, i will pick up you from port airport or center of the city and I promise good local food, wine, cool & happy company ! I was born in Delphi on the mountain Parnassos, when I was 6 years old my parents moved to Athens. I grew up in Athens and at the age of 18 I started studying at the Military Academy of Greece. In the 26 years that I served the army, I was moved and served in army units all around Greece from north to south and from west to east, islands, borders, mountains and this helped me discover all Greece history and myths. After army my love for history and adventure made me lead tours with travelers for more than 5 years now. I am not a licensed guide and will not be able to guide you inside all the historical monuments but in our way i will give you all the information you need.

Your Athens tour itinerary
We start driving from Athens for 2 hours and in our way as we drive we'll see "Marathon" the start of the original marathon race, the city of Thiva and the spot where Oedipus killed his father, according to the Aeschylus tragedy , We will stop at the celebrity ski resort village of Arachova. Next stop is Delphi, (2 hours) to visit - archaeological site and museum. - temple of Athena tholos monument - kastalia the holy spring - gymnasium Lunch in Delphi (1.5h) with magnificent view of Delphi riviera and the biggest valley of olive trees in Greece. Corycian cave (off road driving to mountain Parnassos) Next stop will be at Thermopylae (hot gates) : *Battlefield view from the top of the Mountain *Ancient hot gates ^ Leonidas and 300 Spartans monument *Full detailed description of the battle, and the path of the traitor. *Kolonos hill is the place where the last Spartan died protecting the dead body of King Leonidas .
