I am an official guide, born and raised in Athens. I grew up surrounded by the layers of history that define this city. Today, I am an officially licensed Tourist Guide certified by the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Tourism and a graduate in History. Overview of your Athens tour
According to the legend, in the mists of time , Zeus wanted to find where the center of the world was. He released 2 eagles at opposite directions around the world and they met at Delphi. The road to Delphi winds through the mountains, climbing higher into the heart of Greece. The landscape shifts from olive groves to steep, forested slopes. This was once the center of the ancient world, where kings and warriors sought the wisdom of Apollo’s oracle. We will follow the sacred way and pay our respects to Apollo. Before leaving, we will stop in the modern village for a simple meal—local cheese, olives, and a glass of red wine. ***Customize - I can always customise the tour

My daughter and I spent a wonderful day with Christina visiting Delphi and Ossios Loukas. Of course, Christina is incredibly knowledgeable, but also very personable. This combination made the day very interesting and very easy. I am particularly thankful for the extra effort she made to interact with my daughter. To be cont. from Aegina part 4... Christina was a wonderful representative of Greece, but let me tell you that she was not the only one. All of the people of Greece seemed to welcome us with open arms and went overboard to give us the service or quality and care that I have not seen in other countries... She also shared many placed to shop for my wife and many great places and advice of what to do at other locations in Greece. We really enjoyed all of our 5 days with Christina. to be continued...

Your Athens tour itinerary
1. Depart from your hotel at 7.30am to avoid the traffic! Stop at a coffee shop to stretch our legs. Continue to Delphi. (3hours) 2. Delphi . Guided tour in the ancient sanctuary of Apollo where the famous oracle was. (1 hour, 15') 3. Walk to the archaeological museum of Delphi. Guided tour (45') 4. Drive to the picturesque village of Arachova. (20') 5. Stop for an early Greek lunch and perhaps some shopping of local products (1hour) 6. Return to the city of Athens (2, hours) I can create a customized tour for you in case you have special requests or if you are more people.
