There were some some small but ultimately inconsequencial blips. The meeting time changed because of the Delphi guide, but we hadn't asked for one. We had to pay for his room "because the place we were to be in cancelled." Dimitris' car was very comfortable. He was a good driver and interesting conversationalist. We did not get to see the sunset as described in the itinerary. A couple didn't want to go to another monestary so he took them to a restaurant to wait while the others saw two more.

We had a marvelous two day tour. He arranged our lodging for the one night. He varied the agenda as he got to know us better. His explanations of the areas - both the current situation and the history that happen in each place as we drove was top notch. He has a pleasant personality. It was a great two days touring north of Athens.

This was our favorite tour of all. We left Athens to tour the Greek islands for 8 days. When we returned, Dimitris picked us up at the ferry port in Rafina, and drove us to visit Delphi. He arranged for an overnight in a lovely guesthouse called Iridanos in Kalambaka, and the following day, we toured Meteora. Do not miss Meteora. It's fascinating visiting the nunneries and monasteries.
