Don't hesitate in booking Markos V for this multi day tour to Delphi and Meteora. Our group of 6 chose to upgrade to the minibus for more comfort and space. Markos had cold water bottles for us during the trip and planned stops as needed for the group. He was very flexible and made sure we all had enough time at each site according to our needs. We had lunch at To Patriko Mas in Delphi and it was outstanding! HIs hotel recommendation in Meteora was excellent, the Iridanos Hotel, which had a restaurant directly across from it that we enjoyed dinner during our stay. Markos was very knowledgeable and we had great conversations with him along the way. He aimed to please and definitely succeeded in doing so. I'd give him 10 stars if possible!! Thanks Markos!

My Studies are in the field of Healthcare and Management. I have a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare and Social Units Administration from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens. I also have a Master's degree in Health Management from the University of Piraeus. Furthermore, I have a Certificate of Proficiency in English from the University of Michigan. My writing and speaking skills in English are excellent. Other than my professional occupation, I am a guitarist at a professional level and a Marathon runner. Explore Delphi and Meteora in two days departing from Athens
Overview of your Athens tour
Departing from Athens we will drive through the national road to Thieves, Levadia, and Distomo. Then we will drive towards the beautiful village of Arachova, which is located nearby the Ski Center of Parnassos. After a wonderful scenic drive (2, 5 hours) through mountains and fertile valleys, we will visit the ancient city of Delphi, visit the oracle, the navel & the centre of the world. . and the local museum. Finally, we will visit the modern village of Delphi and we will have lunch at a scenic traditional tavern. Then we will depart for Kalambaka where we will spend the night. On the way to Kalambaka(3 hours with the stops), we are going to stop at the historic location of Thermopylae, where the 300 Spartans fell (20 min). The next morning we will visit four out of six breathtaking Meteora Monasteries (Some of the monasteries are closed on specific dates). After visiting the monasteries, we will return back to Athens On the way back we will do a stop at the beautiful village of Kamena Vourla for lunch

Markos provided us with very interesting information and stories about each site before we visited. Our stay in Kalambaka at the base of Meteora, was excellent. The most impressive Greek tour ever and if I can rate 10 stars, i will! Markos constantly goes out of his way to show us the great country Greece. (He showed videos of sites we will visit, additional stories and books from his own collections) Markos arranged most beautiful hotel for us to stay with very reasonable price and excellent breakfast.
