Join me to a scenic drive along the Southern Eastern promontory of Attica. Driving past old small fishing villages ,modern villas ,and the endless crystal blue Aegean Sea. There are dozens little ports filled with boats along our way and hidden coves along the endless coastline. And there on the tip of a hill stands the temple of Poseidon constructed in the 5th century BC with a sparkling soft white marble ,like a light house welcoming the visitors. We will pay our respects to the God of the sea, and admire the spectacular views of the archipelago. On our way back we'll be passing from the neighbouring coastal town of Lavrio, once the heart of silver mining where we can stop and visit the ancient Greek theatre of Thorikos Then the highway will take us back to Athens.

1. Depart for a scenic drive along the beautiful coast of Attica to the Southern tip of the peninsula where the famous temple of Poseidon is (1, 5 hours) 2. Visit the sanctuary of Poseidon with it' s spectacular view on the Southern Eastern promontory of Attica, controlling the entrance of the city. (60') 3.
