Kalimera from Athens! A few words about me: I have worked as a travel agent for 20+ years in both Greece and the United Kingdom, and in the last 5 years, I work as an Athens Walking Tour Expert! Having spent my life in an office and crafting travel itineraries for hundreds (if not thousands) of guests wishing to visit Greece, I decided to leave the office and start walking around Athens, showing my guests, the many faces of Athens as she unfolds in front of us all these years; My greatest passions are mythology, philosophy, architecture and good food and this is what we will explore together in a 3. 5-4 hours' walk around Athens. We will talk about myths and legends of Ancient Athens and understand the true meaning behind them. We will listen stories from buildings, churches and temples and see them with the eyes of our soul. We will taste delicious, real Greek food as it evolved in the last 2500 thousand years! The spinach and cheese pies as well as the skewers & gyros and the delicious cheesecake were found in Ancient Athens too! Our walk will not concentrate on the past but also on the present; A great Greek author Nikos Kazantzakis, author of the books Zorba the Greek and The Last Temptation of Christ, says: "Every perfect traveler always creates the country where he travels" and I would love to be part of this amazing creation. My greatest passions are philosophy & psychology (holder of psychology degree). I speak Ancient Greek and study all classic philosophers and their work in their language. Do not hesitate to contact me for any curiosity, info, request you may have: your questions are more then welcome and dear to me. I am a licensed tour operator not a licensed guide and I do not guide inside Acropolis, Agora or Temple of Zeus. I will pass you all my historical & archaeological knowledge whilst walking or dining together!

Let's visit some of Athens' best sites like the Ancient Agora of Athens, the Tower of Winds, the mezmerizing Plaka and of course the crowded yet lovely Monastiraki. We will visit the Ancient Agora, marvel the temple of Hephaestus and visit the tiny Museum of Attalos where we will see the utensils, crockery and armor of Ancient Greeks that have been used 2500 years ago and will decode Plato's Masterpiece, The Cave uncovering the part of the body that represents the Acropolis of Athens (and Goddess Athena). During our tour we will have a stop for the most delicious and refreshing ginger & honey lemonade in Plaka and we will enjoy lunch with the best gyros or kebab in (or the most scrumptious vegan moussaka for vegetarians & vegans!) - Gelato anyone?
