Your tour begins with a journey back to ancient times through the monuments of the Acropolis; what my guests enjoy most about this tour are the must-see monuments and the stunning panoramic view of Athens from the Acropolis rock. The Parthenon Temple, the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike and the Erechteum Temple date back to the 5th century B. C. Afterwards we take a leisurely stroll through the narrow streets of the Plaka area known as the Old Town of Athens. You will love the tiny sidewalks, the quaint colourful houses of the locals and the old Byzantine Christian Orthodox chapels built in the 11th century A. D. Locals, visitors, modern life and ancient monuments reveal the long history of the city. If you would like a break for recommendations and conversation, I will show you my favourite coffee shop in a beautiful setting. We will taste a Greek coffee and a delicious Greek spoon - sweet made of fruits. It would be a great pleasure for me to share this experience with you.
