Hello or geia (as as my fellow Greeks would say)! My name is Angela, and I just love showing off the Greek capital, Athens. I was born in Greece, grew up in Australia and returned to rediscover my roots. Coming from a multi-national country I love meeting people from all around the globe and learning something new every time. I am more than happy to share my knowledge of Greek history and amazing culture with our international friends! Walking is hobby of mine and showing people the things, I have discovered in the nooks and crannies of Athens, is my passion. If you want to see or taste something out of the ordinary join me and I will show you an Athens you never knew existed. All my tours can be personalized according to your preferences, please do not hesitate to ask! Come join me and be an adventurer, not just a tourist. - I have worked in the tourist industry for over fifteen years mostly in islands and Athens. - As a Greek-Australian I was schooled in Australia and speak both languages fluently I am not a licensed guide and will not be able to guide you inside of the Museums and Archaeological Sites.

Athens is a contrast of old, new and ancient. Inside a beautiful neoclassical building you may find a café, a restaurant even a bar, all the while keeping sight of the Acropolis, the Agora or a n Early Byzantine church. Some places are very touristy and some not so much so. This is by far my favorite tour. A hidden gem, hiding in plain view. An archeological park, a woodland, a nature walk, all in one and, in the heart of Athens! Let's visit the Hill of the Muses or Philopappos Hill as it was later known. We will begin our adventure at the Acropolis metro station, and after a fifteen-minute walk we will find ourselves at the foot of the Philopappos Hill. The mound is full of little treasures. Setting foot on the path, we will take a trip through time and walk in the footsteps of Gods and philosophers. To boot, there are majestic views of the Acropolis, the Aegean Sea and practically the whole of Athens. This will be our picnic area. Then just for fun an Artisian and flea market.
Meet outside Acropolis Metro Stastion Walk down Makrigianni and Chatzichristou Streets Reach the foot of Philopappou Hill Visit St. Dimitrios Loumbardiaris 12th Century AD Prison of Socrates Plateau with Amazing View of Acropolis Burial ground of poet and seer Musaeus Monument of Philopappos, top of hill Picnic Walk down hill and to Thiseion Stroll through Artisan Market Roam around the Flea Market Ends at Monastikaki Metro Station
