Overview of your Athens tour
The National Archaeological Museum is one of the most important museums in the world, housing artifacts from many archaeological locations around Greece dating from prehistory to late antiquity. What my travelers enjoy most during this visit is to see statues they've seen and learned about in books. But the tour it's not just seeing statues, it's also about learning the history behind the art and that's what I enjoy most during this tour. We will see the prehistoric, cycladic and Mycenaean collection, the Greek statues and sculptures, the pottery collection, the wall paintings from Santorini and the Roman collection.
