Lida is a wonderful tour guide. On a very hot day, she was flexible in regards to start time, and suggested a late afternoon/evening which worked out great. She is high energy, funny and very knowledgeable regarding Greek history and the Acropolis in particular. It was a very enjoyable visit, we highly recommend her.

Despite it being a warmer day with the usual influx of cruise ship passengers, Lida’s suggestion made our tour enjoyable. Before climbing to the ruins themselves, we spent time in the Acropolis museum. She provided an overview of Greek history and the surrounding ruins, before walking us through the exhibits. Combining mythology, historical information, and pointers on artistic details she hit the right combination of information to keep everyone interested. Lida helped us navigate the crowds and find some shade on the Acropolis and surrounding area while we continued the tour. She was excellent at interacting with the teenagers to keep them engaged. Both teenagers had high praise for the day. While I myself had previously visited these sites this tour made it much more interesting and memorable.

Our guide Lida Adamaki-Trandou was absolutely fabulous! We are in our mid 70's and Lyda took exceptional care with us getting us up to the Parthenon, down again and through the Acropolis Museum. Her knowledge is first rate and her patience with us was great. She navigated through some communication issues due my dead cell phone and failure to get tickets ahead of time. Thanks so much to her. I highly recommend her and could not have asked for better.
