Welcome! I am George and I was born and raised in Athens. I have been working for the past 25 years as a professional licensed tour driver all over Greece. My major studies have been in Computer programming and Economics. Since school I had a great passion for history. I also love driving and I would love to drive you around Athens and Greece in my clean and air-conditioned Mercedes van. Due to a broad array of interests I can discuss subjects ranging from mythology, ancient history, culture and philosophy to modern Greek history and culture. I am a professional driver and can provide you private tours with all variety of vehicles such as minivan,minibus,bus and coaches I am a guide-driver but not a licensed guide .This means i provide many information from inside my luxurus 2015 Mercedes minivan we tour around but i dont follow outside,so i will not be able to walk you and guide you inside of the historical monuments.

Overview of your Athens tour
For a city with true beauty that combines the old with the new, Athens is it! We will start with the Acropolis site, a complex that includes the Parthenon, Temple of Athena Nike, Odeon of Herodus Atticus, Mars Hill, and more! Next stop will be the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Panatheniac Stadium, memorial of the unknown soldier, and the changing out Guards. Afterward we will see the Trilogy of Athend and Lycabettus Hill. Don't forget to take pictures to remember this beautiful trip! We will also go through Plaka. Here are shops where you can collect gifts and souvenirs at Monastiraki. Finally, we will visit the New Acropolis Museum where you can see the marbles of the Parthenon and a superb collection of artifacts and relics found on the Acropolis excavations.

Thaumasios!!! Wonderful day with George! Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and gave us a fantastic introduction to Athens! Beginning with the Agora with history, antiquities and views of the Acropolis, to the Olympic stadium, the changing of the guard, and delicious local food and a final excellent view of the Acropolis, our day was full!

We were a group of 7 (4 adults and 3 kids (11,13,13) ), looking for a 4-5hr private tour of Athens. George was our guide, we consider ourselves fortunate to have been connected to him. Great communication from the outset, met at the agreed upon time at the port and discussed en route to the Acropolis (George advised we needed pre booked tickets and we booked the 8-9am time well in advance), what we'd like to do that day. Brief stops at the sights was our wish, make it inclusive for the kids. George was knowledgeable and the 5hrs we spent with him flew by We ticked off most of Athens highlights during the tour, finishing off with local gyros (and a cold beer for the adults). A definite 5* experience and highly recommended
