Overview of your Athens tour
We will start the tour from the Acropolis. The ancient monuments built on top of the hill reflect the power, wealth and spirit of Athens in the golden age. We will see the temple of Nike, walk through the Propylaea and see the Erechtheion and the temple of Parthenon, the masterpiece of ancient Greek art and architecture. We enjoy the panoramic view of Mars Hill, the ancient Agora, the temple of Zeus and the theatre of Dionysus. We will then walk to the museum, where thousands of artifacts from the Acropolis area are exhibited. Among them, we see daily life objects and original breathtaking artwork from the Acropolis temples including the original Caryatides and the Parthenon sculptures. We continue with a walk in Plaka, the oldest section in the city. At the end of the tour you have several options to enjoy your lunch, do some shopping, or simply explore it.
