My name is Dimitrios and I was born and raised on the island of Salamis, next to Athens. I have been performing tours for years, not only in Greece but also in UK, something that helped me improve my English skills a lot. I have also spent many years of my life in Athens. I offer exclusively private tours to different destinations all around Greece, on a 7 seater MPV minivan (5 adults+1 kids-no luggage or 3 adults+1 kid-with luggage) My ultimate goal is the customers' satisfaction and entertainment. This 8-9 hours tour offers you the chance to explore the most important sights of Athens, one of the most ancient cities in the world. We will visit the Acropolis, the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Panathinaiko Stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games took place in Athens. will see the Ancient Agora, the Temple of Hephaestus and the Trilogy, just to mention some of the main sights. Acropolis museum will take your breath away with all those amazing exhibits. You'll learn about history, enjoy amazing views, discover our traditions and even get to taste some specialties if you'd like to! I will do my best to share all my knowledge in order to bring you in touch with the place where Democracy, Philosophy, Geometry and generally sciences were born! The experience of visiting the Acropolis is something you will remember all your life.

Dimitrios did a fantastic job of getting us to all of the sites we had requested in Athens plus a few lucky extras! We absolutely enjoyed our time with him and his insights into the history of Athens as well as what it was like to live in the city. He also took us to a great spot for lunch and provided recommendations within walking distance of our hotel for dinner. The one we selected turned out to be an excellent choice and provided a chance to experience a local restaurant not so focused on tourists. My wife and I highly recommend Dimitrios to you.

Your Athens tour itinerary
- Once I pick you up from your location, we'll explore the Acropolis for an hour and a half. - Next, we'll head to the Temple of Zeus for a 20 minute visit. - Afterwards, we'll make a 10 minute stop at the Panathenaic/Kalimarmaro Stadium. - What follows will be reaching Lycabettus Hill to enjoy a panoramic view of Athens where we'll stop for around 10 minutes to shoot some picturesque photos. -Ancient Market of Athens(Agora) is the next stop, with the amazing temple of Hephaestus (40 minutes) - We'll then drive by the Hellenic Parliament, The Academy of Athens and the National Library of Greece(driving by) -Afterwards you will visit Acropolis museum (90 minutes) - After that we will enjoy lunch in a local restaurant with amazing Greek cuisine. - At last, we'll drive back to the appropriate drop-off location. This itinerary could be customized upon request.
