I am an official guide, born and raised in Athens. I grew up surrounded by the layers of history that define this city. Today, I am an officially licensed Tourist Guide certified by the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Tourism and a graduate in History. About literature and philosophy that flourished and produced all the great ideas later adapted in the Western world. At the same time we will be able to drive through this very modern city that became the capital of a new born country in the 19th century although it was inhabited from the mists of time!

We enjoyed a nice day with Christina. She was well versed in history of the area; however, she was on her personal phone quite frequently during our private tour.
We really enjoyed our time with Christina. She gave very good guidance about how to organize our itinerary and provided wonderfully knowledgeable commentary. I especially appreciated how she organized all the logistics of the tour to flow seamlessly together.
Christina is a very knowledgeable guide. There is so much history to this city and country. I was very impressed by her knowledge of the Parthenon and the accompanying museum. My husband keep her on her toes! She even helped us find places to enjoy after our tour. I would highly recommend.

1. We will climb to the Acropolis hill and we will see the Acropolis monuments (Parthenon, Erechtheion, Propylaea, Temple of Nike). Views over the theatre of Herodes Atticus, the Mars Hill, the Ancient Agora, Theatre of Dionysos. 2. After our visit of the archaeological site we will walk down along the beautiful pedestrian street where the New Acropolis Museum is situated. 3. We will visit the New Acropolis Museum. 4. We will then take a van and do a relaxed city tour for about 1,5 hours in order to see the city and some of the most important monuments, including the ancient temple of Zeus, the arch of Hadrian, the stadium where the first modern Olympic games took place in 1896 ,as well as the presidential palace were we will try to catch the change of the guards.

The first part of the tour is a Walking tour in order to visit the Acropolis Museum and to the Acropolis hill. Then we will be Driving with a luxurious Mercedes Van for an hour in order or so to do a city tour and hop on and off wherever is possible.
