The Acropolis raises to all my travellers all sort of questions. How the spot was chosen? Who built it? Slaves or free Athenian citizens? And for what reason? Everyone has questions. Join me in this tour and I will try to reveal the Golden Age to you. About Athens, and its history , its people and its legends! About this city , that became the cradle of the ancient world and introduced to the world Democracy. About literature and philosophy that flourished and produced all the great ideas later adapted in the Western world. At the same time we will be able to drive through this very modern city that became the capital of a new born country in the 19th century although it was inhabited from the mists of time!

1. We will climb to the Acropolis hill and we will see the Acropolis monuments (Parthenon, Erechtheion, Propylaea, Temple of Nike). 
Views over the theatre of Herodes Atticus, the Mars Hill, the Ancient Agora, Theatre of Dionysos. 2. After our visit of the archaeological site we will walk down along the beautiful pedestrian street where the New Acropolis Museum is situated. 3. We will visit the New Acropolis Museum. 4. We will then take a van and do a relaxed city tour for about 1,5 hours in order to see the city and some of the most important monuments, including the ancient temple of Zeus, the arch of Hadrian, the stadium where the first modern Olympic games took place in 1896 ,as well as the presidential palace were we will try to catch the change of the guards.
