Hi :) I'm Olga, and I love history, culture, and languages. Originally from a small mountain village in the Peloponnese, I was born in Canada and raised between Greece and Luxembourg. I have studied History, Archaeology, and Translation and have lived in many European cities, including London, Brussels and Lyon. In 2016, I made my home on the beautiful island of Crete, to enjoy the bewildering nature. Now I am based again in Athens, a unique city that I love deeply and that I would like to show you its secrets. Since 2014, I’ve been an official tour guide accredited by the Greek Ministry of Tourism. Guiding allows me to combine my passion for history and culture with my love of meeting new people and hearing their stories — many of whom become lifelong friends! Athens is a city like no other. From the Acropolis to hidden archaeological sites and bustling neighborhoods like Plaka and Monastiraki, the layers of history are palpable everywhere. But Athens is also a modern metropolis brimming with art, gastronomy, and an undeniable energy that makes every visit special. Whether it's your first time here or you’re a seasoned traveler, I’ll help you discover the city’s many faces. In my tours, I aim to bring history to life. What were ancient Athenians’ daily lives like? How did they think and feel? How do their legacies shape us today? While we can’t time-travel (yet!), I strive to give visitors the next best thing: a vivid glimpse into the past. When I’m not guiding, I enjoy learning new languages, reading, writing, singing, and practicing yoga. Oh, and I also just started writing fiction! I can’t wait to welcome you to Athens and share the stories of this incredible city with you! • Licensed Tour Guide since 2014 by the Greek Ministry of Tourism • BA in History and Archaeology from the University of Athens, Greece • MA in History and Civilization of the Mediterranean from the University of Lyon, France • MA in Translation Studies from the University of Athens, Greece • MA in European Studies from the University of Leuven, Belgium All the tours listed are walking tours, but if needed, I can arrange for a vehicle and driver for you. Just let me know!
