Athens Walking Tour – Ancient Agora, Plaka & Monastiraki (Half Day)

Jenny is an excellent tour guide, and the tour was far better than we ever imagined. She is extremely knowledgeable about everything concerning Greece and she has a great way of bringing history to life. In addition she is very friendly and personable. Her knowledge about Greek mythology was incredible and she answered every question we had with confidence. She brought the mythology to life, making it incredibly interesting. She knew so much about the ancient ways of life, the ruins, their construction, the history of Ancient Greece, etc. She is a walking encyclopedia. She carries a binder she made herself with many pages with details about everything to do with Ancient Greece. In addition she had recommendations for restaurants, and other attractions in Athens and Greece. We ate at two of her recommended restaurants and they were excellent! She took us to little known neighborhoods and a church that were off the beaten past and which we would not have found ourselves. She was completely flexible and went anywhere we wanted to go. We were completely satisfied with her and were very glad we chose her as our guide. I highly recommend her.

Jenny was a perfect guide! She was so kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful. We fit in all of the places I wanted to see within our timeline without feeling rushed. I loved my solo guide experience and will suggest her to everyone I know as they travel to Greece! I cannot recommend her enough for a wonderful guide experience as you visit Greece!

Jenny was excellent. We had a group of 6 from the United States. It was the first time in Athens for all of us. Jenny came extremely prepared with maps, charts and pictures that she used throughout the tour. She talked not only about the ancient sites that we were visiting, but about contemporary Greece as well. She made hearing about all of the Greek gods, myths and legends fun and interesting and directly related whatever we were visiting to the history. She is funny, flexible, very warm and clearly extremely smart. We wanted to include some things and exclude others, and she was completely accommodating. Our group tremendously enjoyed being with her and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a tour guide in Athens.
