Acropolis Museum Private Tour

I started doing this tour in 2009 when the Acropolis Museum opened. Since then, hundreds of thousands visitors have discovered the treasures of the ancient Greek art housed in a building almost all made of glass. What visitors enjoy most in this museum is the feeling that you are back in time strolling around the ancient city. The excavation underneath the museum is now open to public. The museum houses finds of everyday life from the slopes of the Acropolis and archaic statues that where found on the sacred hill and were meant to please the goddess of the city. We'll see all statues and sculptures that once decorated the temples of the Acropolis. The famous Caryatids from the Erechtheion will impress you! The masterpieces of the 5thBC century are kept on the last level where we'll see the Parthenon architectural sculptures. The most impressive gallery made of glass where they have recreated the ancient temple, offering views of the Acropolis Hill and the historical center of Athens.
