We start from the South Slope of the Acropolis Hill, the Theatre of Dionysus, the oldest theatre in the world and the literal birthplace of European drama. Moving westward, you will encounter the ruins of the Asklepieion, a sanctuary dedicated to the god of medicine, Asclepius. You will admire the magnificent Odeon of Herodes Atticus. You ascend the gentle incline, approaching the magnificent Propylaea, the monumental gateway to the sanctuary and you will find out the Temple of Athena Nike (Victory).
